I opened the coolant resevoir to push some coolant out thinking hopefully that theres to much in there so getting rid of some will help. I came to a stop sighn and the car stalled and will not start now. When coolant rises to the cold fill line, replace cap and tighten it until you feel it click. You have to let your engine cool down before adding the coolant or antifreeze. You can hurt yourself, and you can have some burns. You should never add coolant to a scorching engine. There is also a lot to consider in adding coolant to your engine. You can use diluted coolant by itself, or a 50/50 mixture of concentrated coolant and distilled water. In summary, coolant is vital to the engine of every vehicle. So i decided to go home and park it as i was doing so the car started bogging more as i tried to add more gass to the engine. If the coolant level is low, add the correct coolant to the reservoir. So i added more coolant into the resevoir with the car cold, as i did that i squeezed the lines to the radiator sparingly to make any bubbles that might have settles come up and out (mistake?) After i filled it to basically the top of the resevoir (another mistake?) I decided to drive the car to just ge the coolant flowing, as i did that the car started boggin past 2 and was hesistating to go up into high rpm's. Ok so my car had been telling me that i needed more coolant, and i hadnt put any in for a while so i assumed it wasnt a obc "check coolant" annoyance.
